Froehling Anderson Wins Worksite Wellness Award

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Froehling Anderson, a leading CPA firm, today announced that the company has received the Gold Wellness by Design Worksite Award, the highest level recognized by Hennipen County. The award will be presented at an awards breakfast on Thursday, June 17, from 7:45 – 10:30 a.m. at the Earle Brown Heritage Center (external link) in Brooklyn Center.
Froehling Anderson won the gold award based on numerous wellness achievements:
- Establishing a wellness mission statement.
- Bringing in a massage therapist twice during busy season.
- Forming a wellness committee with a budget.
- Conducting health risk assessments.
- Providing access to a blood-pressure machine, scale, fresh apples and health reminders on the bulletin board.
- Distributing wellness bags and supplying healthy food options during busy season.
- Offering Wii and other physical activities to get people up and out of their desks for a break.
- Facilitating a weight loss challenge during busy season.
